TAYGRA as always being seeking original eco-friendly material that respect the humans & their environment, in order to produce the most natural shoes we can.

These raw materials are not industrially produced, so their cost is generally much higher than basic traditional ones, reason why most of the fabricants do not work with them.

TAYGRA met some small producers of organic cotton, gathered in a cooperative that produce a certified organic cotton, naturally tinted.

The production is realized with no kind of pesticide & is not tinted at all : it is another kind of cotton that is not used in the classical textile industry, as its color makes it hard to be tinted further.

Produced in the desertical Brazilian Nordeste, the cotton is growing far away from any intensive watering process.

This alternative economy is a good opportunity for the small producers to earn enough to stay in their environment, being able to feed their family & getting hope to increase their production, as the demand grows.

They produce 5 main colors of cottons : the white, that is used at 90% in the textile industry, the Ecru, the light brown, the rubbish and the pale green.

TAYGRA decided to innovate & to launch ranges of shoes with this material, when we can get some excess of production. Indeed, the cooperative that does the transformation of the harvests is using itself almost the totality of the production, as demand is always growing, because they produce themselves a high quality range of clothes.

So TAYGRA offers you some extremely rare productions of solidarity shoes, more natural, respecting the workers & the planet, eco-friendly social shoes that are always extremely comfortable !
